Marcy Chartier (marcy.chartier)
Executive Director
Marcy is in her fifth year as Executive Director. She is excited to see how much the program has expanded since her days as an SRA junior and looks forward to continuing to work on the development of a great rowing program! Marcy started her rowing career at SRA as a member of the junior program from 1996-1998. She then attended Western Washington University where she rowed three years and received BAs in both English and Spanish. After graduating from Western, Marcy coached the WWU NCAA Women’s Novice team (2002-2003), learning to coordinate 30-40 freshman women. In the summer of 2003, she moved to London, England where she completed her MA in Linguistics. Marcy joined SRA in September 2004 as the Head Masters Coach and the Assistant Junior Womens Coach, and became the Executive Director in January 2006. Updated January 2010
Sam Greenblatt (boathousemanager)
Boathouse Manager
Sam is entering his third year at Sammamish after serving as both the Men’s Novice Coach as well as the Men’s Assistant Coach. Overall, this year will mark the tenth year of his involvement in rowing as either an athlete or a coach. Outside of rowing, he recently completed his bachelor’s degree in History at the University of Washington.

SRA Office Manager
Courtney is SRA’s Junior Women’s Head Coach and SRA Office Manager! She is returning this fall for her 5th year with SRA. With her she brings a long list of credentials to Sammamish. At Western Washington University, while earning her BA in Sociology, she rowed all four years, stroked V4+ 2004 & 2005, placed 3rd at NCAA Division II in the 2004 V4+, placed 1st at NCAA Division II in the V4+ and Team Title: First NCAA national championship in Western’s History. She began coaching Masters & Junior recreational rowers in 2005. She holds level II US Rowing coaching certification. Courtney is excited to get the season started and for another successful year with the girls and Coach Sarah! Updated August 2009
