    February 1-May 16, 2011, MWF 3:30-6:30pm AND T/Th 3:30-6:00pmSammamish Rowing Association is looking for a coach to assist with all aspects of coaching the experienced girls youth competitive rowing team.   Our experienced youth competitive teams range in size from 30-40 rowers seasonally and compete at both local and national regattas during both the fall and spring racing seasons.   The rowers range from ages 13-18.  We are looking for individuals with prior rowing and coaching experience. Ideal candidates are energetic and able to lead youth rowers to their full potential, and should be enthusiastic about rowing as well as coaching with patience and respect.  This candidate should be able to work successfully under our head women’s coach and be able to work cooperatively with the rest of the junior staff and Director.  Pay is hourly.

  • Junior Boys Novice Coach- Fall 2010/Spring 2011

Sammamish Rowing Association is looking for a novice boys coach for our fall and spring competitive youth novice rowing team.  Our novice boys team can range in size from 15-30 rowers seasonally and competes at local regattas during the fall and spring.  The rowers range from ages 13-18.  We are looking for individuals with prior rowing and coaching experience.  Ideal candidates are energetic and able to lead youth rowers to their full potential, and should be enthusiastic about rowing as well as coaching with patience and respect.  This candidate should be able to work successfully under our head women’s coach and be able to work cooperatively with the rest of the junior staff and Director.  This candidate should also be able to run a competent and positive novice program with little or no supervision, and be able to function well under sometimes stressful situations.  Pay is hourly.
